Wine growing / wine making

South of France – 10 Km from Nîmes. Old terrace covered with colluvium clay and limestone. Elevation: 50 – 80 m. Average age of vines: 15 years. The Bouix family owns and operates this picturesque property in the Southern Rhone region, and the family’s winemaking tradition goes back five generations. Traditional winemaking using direct (pneumatic) pressing.

Tasting notes

Bright acidity, followed by fresh flower notes and a round mouthfeel. Juicy peach notes, along with apricot and honey. While it is enjoyable now, it would also cellar nicely for 3-5 years. 2024 Sud de France Top 100 winner.

Food pairing

Langoustine, crayfish, lobster, crab, prawns, Pad Thai, coronation chicken, lamb tagine with apricot, dishes with ginger, saffron & coconut, sweet root vegetables.
